Treasure the Moments

I had saved this anonymous writer’s piece in my Bible and would read on it in my own anxieties in life.  It helped me get a perspective, even if the situation did not changes as quickly as hoped.  Sometimes, we just need a little en-courage-ment along the way.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down, probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than once and its’ harder every time.  You’ll break hearts, too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You’ll fight with your best friend.

You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did.

You’ll cry because time is passing too fast and ……………you’ll eventually lose someone you love.

So, take too many pictures…laugh too much and……and love like you’ve never been hurt ………

Because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back.

Don’t be afraid that your life will end…………..Be afraid that will never begin.

Remember, life is what we make it.  We are not promised that life will always be rosy and tra-la-la in the lavender fields a growing; yet, how we view it will shape us in our lifetime… is a whisper of smokey haze…….cherish every moment, even the negative ones…….they help create a soul worthy of the challenges and blessings to live the life that Christ wants us to do.  Be grateful in all things……both positive and negative…..they are the small moments to treasure.
